A loan helped a member to expand her cosmetic sales business.

02-Wayruritas Group's story

The 02 Wayruritas communal bank is part of the Third of May Agency, which is made up of eight members who are friends, and it is led by a board of directors where Maria is the president.

The loan that they will take out will benefit micro entrepreneurs, which includes Maria. Currently, she has a business selling cosmetics (lipsticks, mascara, eye shadows, powders and makeup) by travelling and offering to different customers. She notes that she started this business one year ago with the help of her sister.

The loan that she will now take will help increase capital to buy lipsticks, mascara, eye shadows, powders and makeup in bulk from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz to then market from her point of sale. This form of work allows her to generate financial resources. She is 37 years old, single, and she has three children. Her goals are to grow her business and provide financial stability to her children.

Note: There are only three people in the photo due to the Covid-19 public health emergency. It is for this reason that all of the bank members are not in the photo, in order to avoid the grouping together of people.

In this group: Angela Susy, Maria Rosario, Dhamar, Javier Humberto, Sara Belen, Ivan Guido, Benedicto, Doris Lourdez
