Maricela's story

Maricela, age 28, is a single mother. She lives in her parents' house. Maricela and her family have scarce resources. She survives by being a day worker and by raising pigs, which she does on a plot of land.

Maricela is requesting her first loan to buy pigs, potatoes, balanced feed, serum, and vaccines. She aspires to be able to get better earnings from this business activity. This will allow her to give her daughter a better quality of life. Her daughter is starting her first years of schooling.
