A loan helped a member to purchase the ACE One energy system to access solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Leopards Dec 1 Group's story

Catherine is a 48-year-old woman who lives with five other family members in a two-bedroom house with access to electricity.

Catherine works as a farmer but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. She spends a total of UGX 75,000 on all of her fuels and electricity expenses.

Catherine and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE One cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE One cookstove, please visit africancleanenergy.com and Facebook@African Clean Energy.
