01_Sopey Mame Diarra Group's story

These eight women, each from the same region, make up a group that was created in December of 2020. Their main occupation is in retail trade.
Maty, age 41, is the group leader, pictured raising her hand in the back right of the photo. She is a married woman and a mother with one daughter. Maty runs a small dried fish business. She buys in bulk and resells by going door to door.
She will buy a large amount of dried fish that she will resell with a margin of profit; her business runs smoothly.
With the profits, she supports her husband with household needs and she dreams of buying a plot of land.

In this group: Maty, Coumba, Amy, Ndéye Coumba Lô, Fatoumata, Ndéye Débo, Khadidiatou, Nogaye
