A loan of $400 helped purchase construction materials like bricks, sand, cement, and steel to put up concrete walls for his home and put up a better roof.

Eusebio Alfonso's story

Eusebio is a hard-working man who's 55 years old and the father of 6. He has little money and to date, has not been able to construct a concrete home. Most of his jobs have had very low pay so he has only been able to afford food. He has worked as a security guard in a local casino for the past year and he receives a pension from his prior job as a policeman.

His wife also works doing laundry in order to help with basic expenses like water, electricity and basics for the children. Eusebio gives part of his pension to his oldest son to support his university studies so he can get a better education which will hopefully help the other children in the future.

He would like to buy constuction materials to start to put up concrete walls little by little for his home and put up a better roof. He will buy bricks, sand, cement, and steel and he will start the work.
