Esperance's story

Greetings from Rwanda!

Esperance is a 36-year-old mother of two children, all of whom are attending school. She is very committed to the well being of her family so she always has hopes of improving her family's living standard.

Esperance owns a small retail shop selling various items such as sugar, rice, cooking oil, beans, garlic and other basic goods for sell. She has been in this business for the past ten years and has no employees.

Esperance has requested this loan in order to buy more inventory and be in possession of sufficient stock of goods for sale and increase sales and revenues as well. She believes that in the future, her business will be flourishing.

Furthermore, this is Esperance's third loan with VisionFund Rwanda and she is truly thankful towards the Kiva lenders for allowing her this loan.
