Antonia's story

Our member belongs to the “VIRGEN PURIFICADA – ANGOSTURA communal bank; she lives in Angostura district, Saylla province, Cusco department.

Antonia, 52, is married; she’s from Angostura and she is a retail merchant. She’s a good cook and, thanks to her tasty preparations, she has had a food sales business for the past 12 years.

She benefits from her husband’s job as a bricklayer and he receives from her every day at his work site a Tupperware with lunch for himself and his coworkers. She sells lunch to his coworkers and this is how she earns a living.

She is asking for funds to buy ingredients for the month to continue cooking her delicious meals. Part of the loan will be used to buy some groceries and things for the home.

She values and is infinitely grateful for the loan because it allows her to grow with her business and improve her quality of life. She also pledges to repay in a timely fashion.
