Las Emprendedoras Group's story

The group Las Emprendedoras was formed in Santaní and belongs to the poverty eradication program. Because of the good experiences from other groups, the members decided to start their own.

Liz, known for being very enterprising, is one of the members. She works as a housemaid until midday, and in the afternoons she goes out selling clothing and makeup around the neighborhood and also sells at home. She has an established clientele thanks to her kindness.

She requests the loan to buy clothing and makeup to sell and this way continue working as she has been doing.

Note: though only one person appears in the photo this is a group loan. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, and to avoid larger groups gathering, it was not possible to take a group photo.
