Sabougnouma Group's story

This man with his smile, and his hand on his cow, is Simballa. He is Malian, 35 years old, married and the father of 4 children. Simballa has been an animal raiser for 10 years. His work consists of buy thin cows, fattening and raising them for some time then selling them for a good price. He makes his purchases and sales at different fairs. With his work he can make between 50,000f and 75, 000f per head. The problems that he encounters in the course of this work are the following: sales on credit to certain of his clients who have not respected the payment delay and especially the costliness of animal feed in these times. To expand his income, Simballa used RMCR for access to a loan. His ambitions are to prepare for the future of his children in terms of education and to become a large raiser in the area.
