A loan of $2,575 helps a member to buy cattle to resell in order to take good care of his family.

Benkadi Group's story

Soun Galo is a 45-year-old Malian. He is married and the father of eight children, including two girls and six boys. He is a farmer and raises and fattens animals. His business involves buying skinny bulls or cows, fattening or raising them for several months, and then selling them at a profit.
He can get at least 50,000 FCFA or more in profit per head from each sale; half goes to pay family expenses and the rest is invested in his business.

Soun Galo has been raising animals for at least 10 years. The challenges of this business include disease, the high cost of animal feed and the lack of financing, which is why he asked RMCR to make a loan to him. He hopes to achieve his dream of having several head of cattle and to pay for all of his family's expenses.
