Zaituni is married with four children and all her children go to school. She doesn’t take care of any additional family members.
She owns a stall in Bwaise market where she sells fruit and vegetables. She has been in this business for ten years. She wants to use this loan to buy more boxes of fruits and vegetables to sell. She buys from farmers who bring their produce to the very market where she works.
Her main business challenge is the rainy season when her customers can’t reach her because she works in a muddy place.
Zaituni joined MCDT because she wanted additional capital. She rents a two-room house and the family has access to electricity and piped water.
