A loan of $775 helped buy various articles for shop.

Dramane's story

Mr. Dramane Dembélé is 34 years old, married and the father of four children. He lives with his wife and children in the Faraba borough of Bougouni (third administrative region of Mali). Not having attended school, he embarked on revenue-generating activities from an early age.

For ten years he performed daily tasks for merchants, notably using a “pousse-pousse” to transport their merchandise to market and to different areas of Bougouni, without encountering success. Thereafter, he decided to learn to sell various articles in his uncle’s shop.

After more than seven years’ experience, he now masters this activity. His shop is working well and he attracts many customers. To strengthen his commerce, Mr. Dramane Dembélé decided to collaborate with Soro Yiriwaso. The preceding loan granted by the MFI was repaid in full.

He intends to use this new loan to buy a large quantity of various articles for his shop. He gets his supplies from Bamako (capital of the Republic of Mali).

With this loan, Mr. Dramane Dembélé is hoping to reach monthly earnings of 60,000 FCFA. He envisions using his earnings to extend his shop.
