This five-member group established on December 2, 2020 is composed of women who live in the same area. They are supportive, hardworking and maintain good relationships. Most of them are involved in retail sales.

Ndeye Fatou, standing at right in the photo, is 46 years old. She is married and the mother of four children, including one boy. She sells sheets, fabrics and smoked and dried fish, a business she has been in for years. She has a good, loyal clientele that she keeps by offering them high quality products and reasonable prices.

Ndeye Fatou plans to use her profits to build her house and to help pay for her children’s school fees.
