Eugenie is a 45-year-old mother of three children aged between 4 and 12 years. Her husband is a farmer and for the past seven years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Eugenie is the leader of the group called Dukoreremumucyo CB SUB GRP B (which in English means “Working in Light”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Eugenie will use her loan to buy more sorghum to sell in her community and also to be able to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to provide for the family.
