Zamda is a 45-year-old mother of four children aged between 10 and 19 years. Her husband is a technician and for the past six years, she has been selling shoes.
Zamda is the leader of the group called ABANYAMURAVA CB (which in English means “People who are Joyful”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.
Zamda will use her loan to buy more shoes to sell in her community and also be able to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to increase her savings and build a house. She is thankful for your support.
Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
