A loan of $850 helped a member to purchase embroidery materials for her embroidery business.

Samina Parveen's Group's story

Samina Parveen fills orders from her neighborhood for her embroidery business to earn an income. She lives in Multan, a city of shrines and sweetmeats in Pakistan. She has applied for a loan from Asasah (a microfinance institute in Pakistan) for her embroidery business.

She is a very skillful woman and keeps herself up-to-date with the new embroidery fashions. Fortunately, her creativity helps her to make new designs in her mind and try to realize them on the clothes. She says that she is blissful by the grace of God that He has caused her to be born with this talent.

Her customers admire her work and give good orders to her. She works hard to manage the orders on time. More than that, she loves her work because it has given her a good business which continues to improve her financial situation.

With the loan she will buy embroidery materials such as clothes, colored thread and beads in bulk which will help her fulfill larger orders in time.
