A loan helped a member to purchase the ACE One energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Bluejays December 005 Group's story

Hope is a 31-year-old woman who lives in a multi-bedroom house with access to electricity, with six other family members, including one dependent. Hope works as a businesswoman but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. She spends a total of UGX 71,000 on all of her fuels and electricity expenses.

Hope and the other members of the group in this village each bought the ACE One cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE One cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
