Albrita's story

Albrita is a 59-year-old mother of three children living in Molo, a town whose surroundings have vast agricultural potential with numerous small farms and also large agricultural enterprises. Albrita has been a mixed dairy and crop farmer for the past 10 years, enabling her to make tremendous family growth.

Albrita is seeking this loan to buy farming inputs, which she will use to optimize her production and earn more income to comfortably support her family. She is hopeful that Kiva lenders will respond positively to her loan request. Please support her at this time when the Covid-19 pandemic has affected food systems, food security, and agricultural livelihoods!

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
