A loan of $1,625 helps to buy fomix [craft foam], cardboard, paint and other supplies to make decorations.

Angela Benita's story

Angela Benita and her children live in Cantón Paján, a very productive area where the inhabitants grow coffee, cocoa, rice, etc. This area was greatly affected by the health emergency brought on by Covid-19.

Angela Benita is a hardworking woman who is seeking a way to earn a living and get ahead without depending on her children. She makes presents and decorations for parties and celebrations, and in this way was managing to earn a living. But with the pandemic this changed as this type of activity was closed though government orders. This left her in a bad situation and for a long time she wasn't able to work. Now thanks to the loans she is already making handicrafts, not like she was before but at least she is earning money.

This loan will be used to buy fomix [craft foam], cardboard, paint and other supplies to make decorations.
