This group of women was created in November 2013. They live in the same area and share strong bonds of kinship and solidarity. Their main activity is commerce.
Fatou is the group representative. She is 50 years old, married, and the mother of four children, one of whom is a girl. With this loan, she plans to buy vegetables in bulk quantities. She will resell her produce at the local market at a good price to make a profit. With the resulting money, she envisions building up her business and plans to help her husband cover her family's needs (food, healthcare, and education for her children).
