Laura Yesenia's story

Laura, 34, is single and lives with her parents in Nueva Arica district, a mostly agricultural area where the main activities are cattle-raising and tobacco growing; it’s located an hour and a half away from the city of Chiclayo.

For the last three years she has run a grocery store located in her home. She acquires her stock in Chiclayo and Cayaltí; she tries to offer high-quality products and provide pleasant customer service. Thanks to this, she has become well-known in the area and currently has a group of regular customer s that prefers to buy in her store.

Laura wants to expand her business buying more merchandise so that her sales will increase and thus her profits will too. She has asked Edpyme Alternativa, therefore, for a 2000 new sol loan that will help her reach this goal.

Laura is a hard-working woman who always strives to help her parents get ahead. In the area where she lives her neighbors and acquaintances consider her to be a level headed and honest person.
