She's been a businesswoman since she was small, having learned the business when she used to travel with her father to Cangallo delivering products. At present she runs her business with the help of her children. Her husband works at a teachers' institute, and they both support the home.

Delfina has been with FINCA Perú for around eighteen years. Thanks to the loans she has received she was able to open her business and continue to grow her sales. With her savings she has been able to build her house out of good materials. Her dream is to complete the second floor. She's seeking a loan for 2600 soles to buy rice and sacks of sugar wholesale.
