Thian's story

Thian is a married woman living with her husband, sons, and daughter in Buriram province, the northeastern region of Thailand.

Basically, her family cultivates a jasmine rice farm and owns a small restaurant. Thian needs to be responsible for the education fees for her children, who are studying in a high school.

Especially, the restaurant is the main source of income in her family. Therefore, Thian has looked for an opportunity to expand the business and then applied for the Kiva loan to buy more chairs, tables, and kitchen utensils for serving customers in the restaurant.
