A loan of $625 helps to buy sweets, snacks, and candy.

Pedro Miguel's story

Pedro, age 60, is a micro-entrepreneur who lives in the city of Cartagena. He is in a common law relationship. For more than ten years, he has had a business selling sweets and candy in a shop on a main street in the city.

The business began when Pedro left the company where he had worked for more than 20 years. With the savings he had, he began to look for a business opportunity, which he found in a shop in the neighborhood where he lives. It seemed that this business would be easy to handle, and also he had contacts, to buy at good prices and have a good profit margin.

Now he joined the program "Cartagena Responde”, to request a Kiva loan, his first financing from the Fundación Santo Domingo. With these funds, he will buy sweets, snacks, and candy. Support him with his loan; it will be a success.
