Kulbayra's story

Kulbayra is a lovely woman who lives with her children in the Kochkor District. It is in the highlands area and agriculture is one of the main sources of income.

Kulbayra owns a fairly large farm with 11 cows, 25 sheep and 2 horses. She also has 2.34 hectares of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa.

Kulbayra is asking Kiva to lend her 50,000 som (KGS) for the purchase of livestock in order to increase income from livestock raising.

The income from the loan will help Kulbayra to improve the well-being of her family.
