A loan of $2,025 helps to buy more sugar, salt and soap.

Violette's story

Greetings from Rwanda!

This is Violette, a Rwandan entrepreneur who owns and runs a shop in her community. And for the last nine years she has been selling various commodities in her community. She is a 51-year-old mother of five children who are between 13 and 27 years old.

Violette requested a loan to increase her supply by buying more sugar, salt and soap to meet customer demand in her community. She hopes that the profits from her business will enable her to increase her savings.

In future Violette plans to expand her business.

Violette thanks you for your support.

This loan is special because:

It provides training, savings accounts and loans to Rwandan entrepreneurs unserved by the formal banking sector.
