A loan helped to purchase fruits and legumes.

Rosa Carmelina's story

Rosa Carmelina is married and has two children from this relationship; her husband is a merchant. They live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place of humble people who work in livestock and handicrafts.

She and her husband continue their business, trying to get out of the difficult reality in which they are living with this terrible illness. They work selling fruits and legumes. They buy wholesale and then go out to sell in their cart through the city and nearby areas. At the start of the pandemic things got complicated since they weren't allowed out to sell, but later they were allowed and that is how things are now even although they don't sell as much as they used to. They still go on, since this is how they earn their living.

This loan is to buy fruits and legumes. She hopes to be able to continue counting on loans since this is how they keep going and earn their living.
