A loan helped to purchase lard, detergent, soft drinks, water, etc.

Johanna Maritza's story

Johanna Maritza and her family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place of humble people who work in livestock and handicrafts, who like the rest of the province have been greatly affected in the economy and because of much loss of life due to COVID-19.

She is a hardworking woman who searches for ways to get resources and with these help her husband, who at the moment isn't earning much due to the pandemic which has affected everyone. She has a shop, and there she sells a great variety of products. She also sells footwear from catalogues, although right now she is not doing this since there are no sales, and to avoid making a loss has paused while waiting for things to improve so she can return to it.

This loan is to purchase lard, detergent, soft drinks and water to stock her shop. She hopes that things improve so that she can pay off her debts, which she has not been able to do because of the difficulty of the situation.
