04_Gandeck Group's story

Since its creation in June 2011, this group has been composed of very dynamic and bonded women who are mainly active in trade and livestock.

Binta, standing to the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's representative. She is 58 years old, married, and the mother of four children including three daughters. She is active in livestock fattening and has been working in this sector for many years.

With her new loan, she plans to buy sheep that she will fatten and then sell after a few months. The rest of the loan will be used to buy animal feed. With the profits she will earn, she plans to strengthen her business by buying more sheep.
