A loan helped to invest in the purchase of brushes, dye, amino acids, vials, massage oil, and false eyelashes.

Celia Cristina's story

Celia Cristina is a 20-year-old microentrepreneur and resident of the city of Barranquilla. She has as a business a hairstyling and beauty treatment service, with over 2 years of experience and operation in the business. There, she offers the services of hairstyling, flat ironing, drying, keratin, dyes, amino acids, and facial hygiene. Her business idea was born due to the lack of job opportunities and due to the need to generate income to pay family expenses.

Celia Cristina has as customers the community in her neighborhood, people in the sector and nearby. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which appeared on a global level, her work reduced for biosafety reasons and her cash flow diminished drastically. For this reason, she joined the Programa Barranquilla Responde to ask for her first Kiva loan, with Fundación Santo Domingo, with the goal of investing in the purchase of brushes, dye, amino acids, vials, massage oil, and false eyelashes. Support her in her business loan.
