This group composed of seventeen members was formed in May of 2016 and it joins women from the same area who are united by good neighborly relations. Madame Marie is the responsible member; she is 48 years old, married, and mother to six children, four girls and two boys, all of whom attend school.
Madame Marie is very dynamic and engaged in her area's development activities, and she plays the role of a social regulator. She is standing at the far left of the photo with her hand upraised.
Marie has been active in the sale of chicken carcasses for almost fifteen years and has good experience in the field.
With her new loan she will buy chickens from her vendor to resell them in a well-known market in town.
The profits from her business allow her to meet her personal needs.
