This group, composed of five members, was created seven cycles ago and it joins women from the same area and joined by good neighborly relationships. Madame Aissatou is the responsible member, she is 50 years old, married and mother to eight children, five boys and three girls. She is standing to the right of the photo with her hand upraised. Aissatou is very engaged in her area's development activities and plays the role of a social regulator. She is active in the business of selling various fabrics and has been so for a long time, and has good experience.
With her new loan she will buy bales of fabric which she will resell at retail in her area's market.
The profits from her business allow her to take charge of the food, sanitary and education needs of her children, and to reimburse her debts.
