A loan helped to buy clothing, purses, toys, household goods, and other items.

Karla Carolina's story

Karla is 32 years of age, is married, and has 2 children, 14 and 2 years of age. Her husband works on the pier. They live in Manta, a place whose inhabitants are modest and very hardworking, who fight every day to get their families ahead.

Karla is an enterprising woman who strives daily to raise her children and defray the household expenses at the same time. That's why, for the last 5 years, she owns and operates a vending business, selling clothes, toys, handbags, household goods, and other items.

Previously, she carried out her sales on foot, but currently she is selling on social media. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, her business worsened because of biosafety concerns and her income decreased drastically. That is why now she is requesting a new loan with the goal of reactivating her business again.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of clothing, purses, toys, household goods, and other items. Her dream is for her business to go back to making progress and to be able to have a shop.
