Luis Antonio's story

Luis Antonio is a 38-year-old micro-businessman. He is a resident of the municipality of Soledad, where he has a piñata business. Luis started this business approximately 8 years ago, due to a lack of employment opportunities. He invested his savings in starting his business. He has earned recognition in the area for being a hardworking and responsible person in his activities. Due to health safety reasons, he has to suspend his work activities because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. His income went down considerably. Now he is taking out his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo, thanks to Atlántico Responde plan. It is to increase his working capital and buy toys, shoes, clothes and more. This will increase the number of sales and profits. Support him in his business loan.
