A loan helped to build a safe latrine at home.

Kea's story

Kea, age 41, is a widowed woman who lives with her children in the Samraong district, in the Takeo province. She works very hard with strength every day without her husband to raise her children and provide them with the best quality education.

She earns a living as a garment worker by using her force, and spends more than eight hours everyday at the factory to earn additional income. Currently, her family doesn't have a safe latrine for use at home, and she cannot provide good sanitation to her family. As of now, she is requesting a loan to build a safe latrine at home. In this way, she hopes to increase the value of her home, improve sanitation, and ensure healthy living conditions to safeguard the health of her family and protect the environment.

With this loan, she will have the ability to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks and cement, to build a safe latrine and pay for labor costs. Kea sends thanks to all lenders who contributed their funds to help poor people like her.

This loan is special because:

It provides access to clean, renewable energy sources, like solar and biogas.
