A loan of $650 helped buying advance orders on her direct sales line.

Marina's story

Marina O., 47, is making sure that her family has enough for their daily needs. She makes sure that she earns well so that she and her child can have a good and comfortable future together. She has been doing direct selling of clothes and cosmetics for the past few years.

Marina has been a regular member of Center for Community Transformation* (CCT) for more than a year now. She regularly attends their weekly fellowship meetings and pays her weekly dues consistently. Because of her good repayment performance with her previous loans, she was able to borrow quite a few times through CCT’s Cooperative. She is consistent in paying her dues because she uses the money she borrows to expand and improve her direct sales business.

To ensure the success of her business, she would like to apply for a PHP 30,000 loan. This amount will be used as a source of added capital to her expanding business by buying advance orders on her direct sales line.

She dreams that her business will continue to grow so that she and her child can be well-off in the future.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
