Suale's story

Suale is 33 years old. She is married with three children and lives with the family in Jasikan, near the town of Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Suale makes a living from her shop selling rice, oil, drinks, soaps and food items. Her customers are always happy to come to her shop to buy. She is a very hardworking and driven woman.

The main challenge that this enterprising woman faces is the high cost of transportation; because she does not have enough money she must always buying in small quantities. She has requested this loan so that she can buy rice, oil, drinks, soaps, and food items in large quantities that she will sell in her shop.

With the increase in inventory, Suale will earn greater profits, which she plans to use to pay her children's fees.
