A loan of $2,250 helps a member to buy some animals to resell with the aim of taking charge of his problems.

N'gnetaga Group's story

Souleymane is the one holding the sheep, alone in the photo due to Covid-19. He is a Malian, 37 years old and never went to school. He is a father of five dependent children. His wife is a housewife. He has joined the RMCR to be able to resolve the problem of funding which he has confronted to better manage his ovine rearing business. He makes purchases in the surrounding villages and resells in the local markets. The profit earned will enable him to pay for certain family expenses such as his children's medical costs and food for the household. With the income from these loans he has been able to be an animal owner (sheep). He has a good reputation in the village.
In the future, he would like to take a bigger loan to buy several sheep in order to increase his income.
