A loan of $375 helped buy pigs to sell.

Vilma's story

Vilma is 46 years old and lives in her own home with her husband and three children. For 23 years, she has been buying and selling animals at the local livestock fair. She started selling cattle, but at the moment she also sells sheep and pigs to a lesser extent. Vilma purchases the animals and then sells them at a higher price. She takes home any animals that remain unsold and fattens them to sell later for a better price, usually on the weekends. Vilma relies on the help of her children to carry out her business and transport the animals. Selling animals is a profitable business, so she has decided to increase her operating capital.

This is her eleventh loan with MFP. Vilma promises to be responsible with all of her payments and thanks everyone who made this loan possible because it will be useful in advancing her business. With the money she requested, Vilma plans to buy a large quantity of pigs because she wants to increase her sales of this type of animal.
