A loan helped to increase his business’ working capital, to make adjustments to his shop, to buy an air conditioner, and to buy supplies, such as gel, blades, barber talc, aftershave, etc.

Marco Antonio's story

Marco Antonio is a young microentrepreneur and resident of the city of Cartagena de Indias. He is 22 years old and is the owner of a barbershop that he started approximately 3 years ago.

Marco started this shop because he always had the idea of running his own business, and he did not want to depend on anyone. Then, the idea for this business came to him, and he wanted to be able to help his family get ahead. He offers his services daily to persons in the area, neighbors and relatives on a cash and credit payment basis.

Now, he is arranging his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo. Due to the Covid-19 crisis that has affected the world, Marco had to close his business because of health concerns. He is requesting this loan to increase his business’ working capital, to make adjustments to the shop, to buy an air conditioner, to buy supplies, such as gel, blades, barber talc, aftershave, etc., and to increase sales and profits.

Please support this loan for his business.
