A loan helped a member to buy an electric mixer and an industrial oven.

Amigos Solidarios. Group's story

The communal bank Amigos Solidarios is made up of nine members, with Magdalena as the president. She is the first in the photo with a grey sweatshirt and black pants, in the middle is Begonia wearing a grey sweater and grey pants, and next to her is Daysi wearing a white coat and black pants.

Magdalena is the oldest of her siblings, and since she was little she helped her mother sell pastries, which is where she learned a lot about baking, but she also worked and studied to help with the home expenses. In wanting to form her family, she had a bad experience with her partner but she never forgot what her mother taught her; to work and not give up. She started making birthday cakes and made herself known, and people looked for her in her home to place orders. In this manner she was able to become independent and have her own business.

Magdalena has great abilities in baking, and she is well known by her customers that place orders. She works out of her home. The loan she is requesting is to buy an electric mixer and an industrial oven, and in this way she will grow her business and she will teach her daughter this work so that in the future she doesn't go through deficiencies and she will have independent work.

Note: Only 3 members of the group are featured in the photo due to health safety.
