A loan helped to pay providers and public services.

Hugo Henry's story

Hugo is a 64-year-old small business owner. He's a merchant with more than 30 years' experience selling handicrafts and domestic-use products, such as picture frames and decorative items for the home. He's a widower and has 2 children with whom he lives in the family household in the city of Barranquilla.

He's maintained stable finances rooted in his business, which he has located in the center of the city, an area that has been among the most affected by Covid-19. Because of the high level of commercial activity, he had to close completely for the last two months. This is the reason that his expenses and fixed costs have accumulated, as he doesn't have alternative ways to access his business.

For this reason, he needs a Kiva loan, in order to attain leverage for his business and meet payments to providers and public services, primarily. This is his first loan through Fundación Santo Domingo.

Support his business loan: it will be a success.
