A loan helped a member to increase her working capital to sell food and accessories for animals.

Astro Group's story

The communal bank is made up of eight people, and List is the president, Mariana Paola the secretary, and Nancy the treasurer.

List Lady told her life story. She comes from a humble family in which she had to work while she was in school to be able to help her brother and her older sister. When she was young her mother died and she had to assume more responsibility at home because her sister had gotten married and only she and her brother were left at home.

She helped her bother to finish school and she needed to work so she went to Pro Mujer to request a loan to have her own business. She began by making clothing for pets and years later managed to have her own store for food and accessories for animals.

She returned to Pro Mujer lately because she said she was able to get ahead thanks to the institution.
