A loan helped to buy supplies for her beauty salon such as nail polish, shampoo basin, items for masages, hair dyes, keratin, and others.

Yileivis Patricia's story

Yileivis, age 30, is a microentrepreneur. She lives in the municipality of Suan, in the department of Atlántico, with her husband and child. She’s had a beauty salon for 7 years in her house, and she also goes to her customers’ houses. She decided to start this venture because she learned this trade from practice and eventually she specialized in this activity.

The crisis that came from COVID-19 affected her badly. Due to the economic reactivation, she decided to join the “Atlantic Responds” program with the purpose of mitigating the consequences of the crisis. She requested a Kiva loan, the first financial aid with the Santo Domingo Foundation, to invest in the purchase of supplies for her beauty salon such as nail polish, shampoo basin, products for massages, hair dyes, keratin and others.

Give her your support, it will be a success!
