Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group Mujeres Unidas consists of one man and 9 women. The group belongs to the committee program, where they each have their own business through which they help their families. They say that their main goal is to overcome the difficulties they face due to the Covid19 pandemic, which has decrease their income.

One of the members is Gloria, who makes a living selling basic household products and has a small grocery store. This business allows her to generate the needed resources to support her family. This is her main business, and in addition she sells cheese and eggs from her own farm.

She requests the loan to invest more capital in her business and buy food, drinks, baked goods, and other products.

Note: Though only one person is in the photo, this is a group loan. Due to the Covid19 pandemic and to avoid large gatherings, it was not possible to take a photo of the group.
