A loan of $575 helps to purchase fish.

Cruz Mercedes's story

Cruz Mercedes and her family live in the parish of Noboa, a place of hard-working people who work in the rural tasks and a place greatly affected by the effects of COVID-19 on its economy and the loss of lives.

She is a hardworking woman who, with her spouse, seeks the way to earn a living and get their family ahead. She works selling fish. Every day, she makes round through the city and nearby places on a tricycle. She purchases the fish from the wholesale merchants, then cleans them at her house so to bring a good product to sell to her customers.

For her, the loans have been of great help, especially in this time of the pandemic when they did not have means to finance their business. This loan is to purchase fish.
