A loan of $875 helps to buy footwear of different sizes and styles.

Yelena Gabriela's story

26-year old Yelena Gabriela is in a common-law relationship and has two children aged 6 and 1. Her partner is a driver, and they live in the town of Puerto López where the local people earn their living from tourism and fishing. However, this is severely affected by Covid-19.

Yelena Gabriela is a hardworking woman who does what is necessary to help her family get ahead. Although things are difficult, she makes an effort to carry on. She sells footwear and plastic products from premises in her home. Because of the emergency she was not able to go out, only make sales through social media and deliver to the home.

Now she has already started to make a few sales, and in this way she continues, since at least she is making an income. This loan will be used to buy footwear of different sizes and styles.
