A loan of $1,675 helps a member to purchase animals to resell so he can take care of his family's needs.

Tiessiri Group's story

Yacouba is 30 years old, married, and the father of three children with ages ranging from 2 to 5. Yacouba raises sheep. He is taking out a loan from RMCR to purchase sheep and expand his animal-raising business. His wife is a housekeeper.

Yacouba has been practicing this business for two years. He makes his purchases on market days, and sells at the same market. With the profits earned he is able to cover his children's needs, such as healthcare and clothing. He has encountered frequent challenges with drops in sales and animal deaths.

Yacouba would like to be independent in the future.

Due to COVID-19, he is alone in the photo.
