A loan helped to buy pesticides and fertilizer.

Wilson's story

Wilson is a 51-year-old man, married and blessed with four children. He joined Hand in Hand Eastern Africa in the year 2019 and has benefited from credit access, enterprise development and financial management training.

He is a potato farmer and is borrowing a Kiva loan to buy pesticides and fertilizer. He hopes that this will boost his potato production business; hence, increase his income. He will therefore use the anticipated income to pay school fees for his children and also provide better health care for his family.

He is grateful to Kiva and their lenders for the financial support and promises to repay promptly.
