A loan helped to increase float of his mobile transactions business.

Camarade's story

Camarade is a refugee, but more than that, he is a husband and business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his mobile transactions business, it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers. It all started in 2012 when Camarade fled the violence in Congo that was due to political instability.

After resettling in one of Rwanda's refugee camps, Camarade quickly started his business to provide for his family. After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Camarade requested a loan to grow his business even more.

This loan will help him to increase the float for his mobile transactions business, offering his community more options and giving him the opportunity to build a better life through the growth of his business.

This loan is special because:

It helps refugees launch businesses to rebuild their lives.
